Info You Need
This form must be completed and returned within 2 days of a pet approved property with the completed lease agreement and security deposit.
Please complete this form and submit it to Estey Real Estate if you have been approved for a pet.
In addition to the policy, you must add Estey Real Estate as an additional insured for coverage. There should no cost to you for this addition.
As stated in the Rental/Lease Policy, pets are a privilege and are considered on a case by case basis. No pet may be replaced if it passes away, given away or runs away.
If you want to replace your pet, please contact Estey Real Estate to ensure proper procedures are followed.
Your Lease and the Pet Addendum
Read and follow the Pet Addendum in your lease agreement. We want you and your pet to enjoy a happy home. Many tenants with pets take good care of the rental property but a small few do not. These few give all investment owners reason for not renting to pet owners. Your care of the property is so important for future renters. If your pet becomes destructive or has health or age issues that cause damage, please take appropriate action to ensure they are cared for properly and are not allowed to damage the property.
Pet urine is an organic material and cannot be removed from carpeting or carpet padding and if not handled properly can damage sub-flooring. You are financially responsible for all damage done by your pet and it is not limited to flooring but includes yard, sprinkler systems, fence and more. Be a good pet owner and take care to make your pet a good tenant.
